I’m Emily Brooks Millar, a visual artist from Glasgow who works predominantly in paint and illustration. My work presents current issues within British politics with a sense of humour and satire.
I am qualified in Oral History, where interviewee discussions often form the backbone to my projects, using their experiences to create a vast range of work. My work has been exhibited in spaces such as the Gallery of Modern Art and the Edinburgh Science Festival.
My featured publications stand with such platforms as BBC, Image Comics and Killerandasweetthang. Throughout, a tongue in cheek attitude is essential.
